 ACTS is a non-profit, disaster response team which believes in uniting our communities through Help, Hope and Healing. ACTS primary objective is to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the midst of disaster, carrying out His ministry of healing through first addressing basic physical needs of disaster victims, while also attending to their, all too often over-looked and neglected, psychological, emotional and spiritual healing. Jesus illustrated what He said was one of the two greatest commandments:
“...love thy neighbor as thyself” (Luke 10:27), through the story of the Good Samaritan, then charges us to “...go then, and do likewise (Luke 10:37). |
